Former assistant to the City Archaeologist of St. Augustine; also public archaeologist for several years with the Florida Public Archaeology Network. Currently, I am a master's student in the Anthropology Department at the University of Florida, studying African American archaeology. My focus is on yards surrounding slave cabins, as a public extension of those residences, and those spaces as components of the plantation landscape.
