I am the Head of the Special Collection Unit of the Cataloging and Discovery Services Department at the University of Florida Libraries. I work with rare materials and special collections for the Libraries. I am particularly interested in the role of authorized, controlled vocabularies/identifiers for people and corporate bodies and how this facilitates resource discovery and research.
